She then wrote to the Editor of Rutland Living with the following: "I came across cake-maker Kirsty Ludgate when a friend of my husband's organized for a cake to be made for us...Within a couple of days of that delivery I needed a birthday cake myself (I knew I would struggle to make it but I was also feeling really guilty about buying it in a shop, worst still a supermarket... how could I?)...anyway Kirsty had two days notice; I know on another occasion she might not have been able to do it, but she responded really positively on the phone and what a beautiful cake she sent. Her cakes are so, so special - 100% natural ingredients. So not only do they look amazing - they taste amazing too, they are extraordinary!"
